Jodel DR.100 Series Aircraft Manual in French

Manual Origin

This is the long version of the original French-language manual for the Jodel DR.100 series aircraft. It was kindly given to me for inclusion here by Jörg Spittler, who is one of the owners of Jodel DR.1051 M1 Sicile Record F-BJLP (s/n 25), to which this manual belongs. F-BJLP was originally manufactured in September of 1960, but as it served as Pierre Robin's private aircraft for a number of years, it was always updated to the newest standards, and I think the flight manual reflects this. The manual is the first edition which comprises all newer variants of the DR.100 series aircraft (Ambassadeur, Sicile, Sicile Record), whereas the older variants DR.100, DR.105 are missing. Manual date is December 1965.

Conversion, Viewing and Printing Information

The manual was scanned to Adope Photoshop where the individual pages were retouched to get rid of the most obvious scratches, ink plots, dirt etc., then saved as TIFF files in 300 and 600 dpi resolution. Afterwards, all the pages were converted together into one Adobe PDF document, again a version in 300 and a version in 600 dpi. The 600 dpi version takes up a lot of disk space (over 8 MByte), so you probably need a fast Internet connection to download this version. Also printing is probably difficult on printers with only limited memory. If you are having problems, try printing one page at a time or a few pages at a time. Below, you can also find the manual as individual pages in both TIFF and PDF format at 300 and 600 dpi resolution. The TIFF Images cannot be (correctly) displayed by all browsers, in which case you have to download them to your hard drive and then view and print them with some kind of graphics software (on PC's, I can recommend IrfanView, a very powerful Image Viewer, available free of charge on the web site indicated for non-commercial purposes). The free Adobe PDF Viewer is available for download here. In general, the PDF files are smaller and should therefore be preferred unless you don't want to install the Acrobat Reader or want to work with the graphics contained in the file.
